I believe it was a libelous statement as you had insinuated that the company were environmentally negligent (note that you used the word disaster which has very strong connotations) with no clear explanation as to why you believed this. Until you come up with some actual proof of environmental 'disaster' then this is a damaging misrepresentation and therefore libelous. Remember, for your own benefit, what is written on hotcopper is a statement on the public record.
