An invester is interested in the amount of the dividend.
A trader is interested in the timing of the dividend.

An invester can fall in "love" with their companies.
A trader never falls in "love" with any company.

An invester will use the company product discounts.
A trader will throw these offers in the bin.

An invester will go to AGMs.
A trader wouldn't be bothered.
