Heron was an appraisal well, its been appraised and who knows that ENI are thinking now. Do they think they can unlock the deep secrets of Heron? Is it worth another try? That is the big question. Even if Heron flowed commercially, it meant nothing until ENI took up the option of drilling up another well (although a good flow rate would have helped the cause). MEO do not have the financial means to drill Heron themselves. What is ENI's next move? I believe they may have another crack at it.
Seruway - still alive - Asain Energy Investment of 10mil only interested in Indonesia O&G investment (not Heron), all pointing to a successful drill.
