That would have taken all the wind out of the sails of Tan and his cronies, especially as Nick would have known that the Al Jazeera interview was coming up, and once again, understimated the power of social media and "eyes on the ground" which gave SMSL that info.

Now please note that I have no idea WHY the plant was shut down - the above is only an example of the sort of thing that would have averted any claims of problems being present.

That would come under the heading of "Operational update". So yes - I would have expected something along those lines from a company that is supposedly trying to get on top of the falsehoods spread by social media and the opposition to the plant. Another opportunity missed.

And sorry, Soho - but I disagree with how Nick came across, as posted above. but each to their own interpretations, I guess. Personally, I thought he waffled, instead of dismantling Tan's arguments and accusations point by point.
