The prank was not aimed specifically at her. Any nurse could have picked up that phone.
I agree that she probably felt very foolish and embarrassed but really.....she could have chosen to have a laugh about it....shrug it off and get on with her life!
Or gee, was her reputation and ego so precious that this embarrassment would make her life unbearable????
Remember- she is the one who CHOSE to leave her children motherless!
