hello to the board of nusep!

From this discussion at the NuSep 2012 AGM (taken from http://nusepboardreform.info/agm2012.html), it would appear that the board of NuSep do read HC!

Shareholder: I'd like to ask a few questions about the board changes. There has been a suggestion by someone who says that they are a shareholder that the three resigning board members were sacked. Now I can't understand this to be the case because the only people who can sack directors are shareholders, but my question is were the directors pushed or in some way coerced or given any document asking them to leave? And if they weren't coerced, why did all three resign together?

Chairman: I can't comment on what people say or don't say.

Shareholder: My question was, were they coerced or asked to leave?

Chairman: I can only repeat what I said earlier, board changes are inevitable and when my time comes, there will probably be many people who will be happy about that.

Shareholder: I was really only after a simple yes or no answer, it was a closed question.

Chairman: Well no then, they we're not pushed.

Shareholder: So this person is mistaken then.

Chairman: Well I don't know what they said.

Shareholder: I just told you, they actually used the word sacked. But that couldn't be legally possible.

Dr Nair: The only place that I have seen that comment is on Hot Copper and there are lots of things said on Hot Copper that are inaccurate and I should write to them and take these people to task. I know exactly who you are talking about.

Shareholder: There are various things said in various fora but that's not really the question, but rather the point of reference. But as John {referring to the Chairman} said, "No they were not coerced in any way".

Chairman: This is a board process that we go through. Every board member goes through that. I won't be here one day and it'll be a good thing for the company when that happens.
