Hi strauss,
Break of oblique down trend line from 2007. Yes - significant.
Old rule - both oblique and horizontal must be broken to the upside.
The biggie now is the horizontal resistance line around 5000.
Until that's broken we're still in a cyclical bull in a secular bear.
Plenty of room though for trading.
