Good thinking I was not too sure about the pace of things but am pleased I stuck with them.
I think this week at the 12th of December FOMC meeting Uncle Ben Bernanke will have to bring out the big guns on the question of printing even more dollars out of fresh air. Despite his best efforts with QE-1 QE-2 and then QE to Infinity and beyond he has been unable to get the dollar under the 80 level on the index. If he is serious about fighting a currency war I would have to guess he would be aiming for 75 or under on the index or why even bother.
Poor chap must be getting desperate these days and maybe thinking that his facetious comment about dropping dollars from helicopters may possibly have been true words said in jest. I have a feeling he may go a little further than merely adjusting for the end of operation twist. Looking at the good start to the gold price today maybe I’m not the only one thinking that way!
Also just in case any on this particularly thread has forgotten lets take four minutes to remember why we support our gold producer in the first place:
