So here we are - at the end of the three week exclusivity period. The announcement of 20 November did not state that the end of this period would result in a definative decision one way or the other, but given WCL are now free to solicit a takeover from third parties, I would expect an announcement from the company at least indicating:
a) Whether the due diligence on the "final" due diligence material has been completed (hopefully the timeline will be enforced this time);
b) Whether negotiations are nearing completion (or have failed); and
c) Confirmation that WCL is approaching third parties (or not).

Given the 20 November annoucement's reference to the three week period of exclusivity, I believe it is appropriate for the company to update the market at this time...
