Don't get confused though, it is the latest edition burette WITH the new all-in-one pump controls that will be next year.
My understanding is all burettes have the same pump and valve controls at the top i.e - the same as ALT's do currently. They are however designing a mechanism to have the pump and valve controls into one controller that the nurse can simply twist or select the desired levels in one control as opposed to having to operate several pumps and valves to get the setting right.
This will only add to the functionality IMO and further highlight ALT's superior product.
Remember though, they are already marketing and selling the Autostart burette combined with the autoflush feature.
All the testing that the majors have done would have been the current product set.
When this latest product is ready, I imagine they will simple add the all-in-one controller to it as an added cost.
So this latest innovation won't hinder sales or marketing efforts.
