Webjet Limited (ASX:WEB) has successfully completed its $25 million capital raising that was announced yesterday, geared at funding its acquisition of online travel agency Zuji.
Webjet says it has completed a placement of approximately 6.9 million new shares at $3.60 each with strong support from existing shareholders and new investors.
Settlement of the placement is expected to occur on December 19, with the new shares set to begin trading the following day.
In the 2012 financial year Webjet generated a net profit of $13.6 million.
