coldry shortlisted under government grant prog, page-42

Ive seen some posts saying therec were 10 ALDP round twos...is that just yibber yabber?? I've seen nothing taht says 10 have got through. Ignite have alreadry got their Commerical plant built, so they are not in the ring..

where did that 10 number come from.

Through to RFP, great stuff, There should be afew come knocking now.

I posted a post after Mbros post yesterday, it seems to have got lost in the exitement this morning it was in regard an artiocle published on Tuesday-

Neyveli Lignite Corporation has expanded its search area for the right pelletisation technology from Germany to Australia and Japan, as it seeks to increase the use of lignite (brown coal) for power production.

The state-owned company is speeding up its efforts to set up India’s first pilot plant in Tamil Nadu using suitable overseas technology to convert lignite into pellets.

NLC operates the largest open-pit lignite mines in India

Not sure if you remember an ECT presentation from back in February of this year; Ashley popped over to New Delhi ; hooked up with Neyveli Lignite Corporation there too

"ECT presented its Coldry and MATMOR technology, in colaboration with Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), to a broad audience in this significant market."

Download the presentation in the link below, you will find that table that for some reason got scratched here over the weekend that shows Coldry out in from in that list of international low rank coal drying technologies pg 11 I think it is.

Have a look at the last line of that presentation ;

"ECT is working with NLC India to develop the Coldry process for deployment on Indian lignite resources"
