I use the Westpac Trader Pro IRESS platform, which I assume is the same as the Comsec version. The platform based charting only allows you to save five charts and is pretty poor, updated charts don't save, deleted charts stay etc. Have complained many times to them re this :)

Instead I use the export/import function:

It allows you to save (export) charts on to your hard drive and recall them (import) back into the platform as required. All your indicators and markings are saved, data is automatically updated each time you import. Just save over the previous version when you export the updated chart back to your computer.

I have hundreds of saved charts through this function, easy function to use, have not had a problem with it to date. Hope this helps.
