Tragic for all concerned, but the fault does not lie with the technology of guns, but with the apparent madness of the shooter.

Most men, and many women had guns and rifles until relatively recently in this country, and yet no one ever carried out these mad shooting spree's against innocents. The same goes for the UK, Europe, the US, Canada and no doubt elsewhere. So why is it that such shootings are becoming more frequent...in fact Dunblane in Scotland was the first such rampage that I'm aware of.

China is having their own wave of madness with lone madmen entering the grounds of primary schools and axing and knifing with abandon.

Is this just the result of modern day stresses in an increasingly psychopathically run planet, something more sinister or mere chance occurrence?
