Then why the delay in Blackwood as eni have had the 3d for many many many months. It is simply to align, IMHO, heron and Blackwood with 454p as meo are on there knees.
If no one takes up 454 and eni are the only financially realistic contender then where to for meo . That next leaves seruway which is not due complete farm out until late q2 when cash will be gone. Meo are desperate to get back 454 3d costs ASAP yes ASAP.
If eni walk from heron and Blackwood then sp is down to 4 cents. That equates to 25,000,000 shares to raise $10m yep 50% of current total shares for $10m.
Yes eni cannot launch t/o of meo whilst in Jv but to think that when eni pull the pin they are going to have to wait to launch a takeover u are sadly wrong.
I come back to the original question. Why has eni delayed their decision until feb? Simply because all the ducks line up perfectly and meo has the assets eni, of the all the regional big players, is actively eg ES making an aggressive move to bring online.
