    I believe the historical low of 6.2 c was March 10 2009.
Historical lows tend to be pretty good support but beware if it goes lower.

From FA perspective was MEO in worse position at that point than it is now ?

When Artemis bit the dust (sic) the price hit 18 c momentarily to trade for some time in the 21-24 c range and then fall away slowly are we seeing something similar here ?

I think the fact MEO had so many irons in the fire artifically allowed many to think they had a safety blanket as only 1 had to come to fruition. Call it bad luck or whatever but the numbers have not come up yet.

Takeover targets have been bandied about here and on many threads over the years but seldom happen and from memory I thought MEO had some clause to prevent this happening, not sure how that works but I would have thought any farm in document would have an anti predator clause ? If the likes of Eni and others decided to start taking over small companies because it seemed a cheaper option then they would be a company with a swag of smaller companies they had gobbled up, just doesn't make good corporate sense, unless it is a bargain basement buy and the financial case makes it a no brainer, In this event other vultures would be circling, word would leak out and the SP should be heading north in anticipation, maybe ? I cant see this happening in the near future.
