Kenttown beat me by posting this video while I was slowly getting my facts and thoughts together!! lol
I wonder if QE3+4 will be all that effective in lifting asset prices in the US as opposed to keeping them from rolling over. The effects of QE2 wore off after about 6 months, while QE1 had a bigger effect.
In the present circumstances QE just adds more liquidity into the system - interest rates are already low and are having a positive effect on the US housing market, but much of the additional funds from QE are simply held by the banks who will only lend to worthy borrowers.
Perhaps QE3+4 will again stimulate commodity prices and precious metals.
