And life gets more interesting from Jan 1 hardoak when CVS, the second largest pharmacy benefits manager in the US promotes Axiron to its preferred list and REMOVES Androgel. Certainly one of the restraining factors in Axiron sales has been due to the advantage Androgel has enjoyed from the PBMs and insurance companies. That is changing. The PBMs have been upset by the marketing strategies of Androgel particularly around the issue of co-payments and now they are fighting back. Axiron will be one of the beneficiaries.
