No concern what so ever for me. You are correct a drop out rate is assumed but its a bit like predicting a surplus (OK bad example)- you cant control all the variables. Reading between the lines they have found it easier to do the recruitment than anticipated - this has resulted in a $ saving - which they have decided to spend on slightly enlarging the trial. I don’t think we are talking big numbers hear - both in $'s and people. I would rather have it this way round than the other - ie struggling to get enough people to participate in the trial.
