My thoughts are that feedback from potential partners could raise some possible concerns regarding U + Th levels in the concentrate. This topic is very front and centre given the turmoil that LYC has been plunged into.

The hydro step creates both a higher value product and I understand also reduces U + Th levels.

There has been comment about plant cost and it should be borne in mind that the quantities of material to be processed are pretty small in mining terms. At 0.75% grade and 80% recovery for 3,000 tonnes concentrate we are treating 500,000 tpy. The quantity reporting to the hydro process is less than 200,000 tpy.

Moreover, you do not have to locate huge quantities of ore to lift the contained REE levels - at 1% grade to locate another 10,000t REE you have to find a resource of 1 million tonnes.
