    GM is broke.
    By the time anyone has alternative transport, petrol will be beyond belief as demand outstrips supply. This is beginning now.
    The demand from burgeoning economies such as India and China will only exacerbate the normal increase in demand from the western world.
    Sure bets in the market are therefor are oil and gold stocks.
