    an excellent pick up.

Directors have times they can buy and times they cannot (the black out period)

They cannot buy x days before an announcement, and y days after,,, see the AMX policy on this...

The ASX speak about Directors buying...see below and their web site for more info

Director dealings should not be used by investors as a mechanical buy or sell signal. The information needs to be interpreted within a wider analytical framework. To assist in this it may be useful to consider the following:
1.Share purchases made by a director with their own money should send a stronger signal than allocations through executive share schemes or the exercise of company granted options. The ASX notice will indicate this. An even stronger indication is if the shares have been purchased with borrowed money, but this information is less readily available. ..........

2.Buying carries a stronger message that selling. To quote Peter Lynch again: “There is only one reason that directors buy: they think the stock price is undervalued and will eventually go up.” ,,,,,,

3.In analysing selling, look for the pattern of selling. Although buying is undertaken with a profit motive, selling can be undertaken for a variety of reasons. The sale of a sizeable parcel of securities by a single director might not indicate much in itself. A share sale might be made to diversify holdings, finance a new house, settle a divorce, pay down debt, or fund retirement. Looking at the pattern of selling can assist in differentiating between financial and non-financial motives. For example repeated selling by several directors sends a stronger signal than an isolated sale.
4.It is also useful to compare the size of the trades in relation to the size of each existing holding and whether it is the directors at the core of the business, such as the CEO, who are undertaking the trading.
5.Consider the trades in relation to recent movements in the share price. Has the share price been falling? Value investors are constantly on the lookout for “fallen angels” – previously well-regarded companies, in particular those that have become undervalued as a result of the price fall. Under these circumstances, the signal given by directors buying or selling might provide additional information in determining whether value is on offer or if the fall is justified.

There are some fairly considered and smart people on the board, and for them to be buying is a good sign. They are not buying to lose money.

Good news could be coming in a 1-3 week time frame...

    good luck
