wifi audit

Some of us thought ads on WiFi might save GCN. The trouble is that GCN are not providing us with info about the WiFi roll out. In the last quarterly they didn't even bother to tell us a critical fact - how much of the approx $24,000 revenue came from Flinders Street's operation.

So some sort of audit of the WiFi platforms would be interesting as a prediction for the coming quarterly.

Knobatron says there are no ads on the Balgowlah (Stocklands) free WiFi. That's a bit of a worry. The question is whether there were ads, but the test has failed, so Stocklands have reverted to what they had before. Alternatively the test has not even started - heaven help us.

Flinders St was to be a three months trial. Has the trial ended. Are there still GCN derived ads on Flinders WiFi?

Has anybody picked up GCN derived ads at other railway stations on the Melbourne system?

Is the Jam Factory still carrying GCN derived ads?

Glen Waverly Century City Walk free WiFi must surely be running now. Is it? And does it carry GCN derived ads? Again - heaven help us if it doesn't.

Please don't tell me that it is the new SolakoolConnect project that is relevant to the coming quarterly. We have had no evidence or reports of sales there. That scheme must not be allowed to be a diversionary tactic, to take our eyes off what appears to be a moribund WiFi roll out.
