The most prominent Malaysian to oppose the royals is Mahatir Mohammed. Are you saying Mahatir is a person of unsound mind?
Most Malaysians will not oppenly oppose the royals or the authoritarian regime out of fear but they will vote accordingly in the election!

Stating LAMP is no longer a political issue is an outright lie or blatant ignorance.
For other interested HC readers, check out the attendance on opposition party rallies/campaigns/"ceramahs" and you will be able to see the level of political discontent.
Malaysians generally do not attent protest rallies because the rulling parties through the various adminstrative agencies surpressed the rallies by refusing them permission, threatening violent police actions (like the Bersih 2.0 and Bersih 3.0 rallies)and all manners of surpressions.
LAMP is a political football and will remain so even after the election even if the government wins. Within UMNO itself, the various factional power will use it against each other when it suits them. This is a sovereign risk when companies invest in countries where there is no transparency, corruption and abuses of power is rife.
All the documents relating to LAMP are suppressed through the Official Secret Act (OSA), IF LAMP is as good as lambda and all the other spruikers here, why hide such document of public interest under the OSA?
