    That's where the judgement of the operators comes into it. I personally feel safer on the roads when i'm around trucks because I know most of them have the ability, training and respect to operate the vehicles that they are operating.

    As you mentioned in your previous post car drivers basically have very little respect or restrictions and are given licenses to drive deadly weapons. I personally think small vehicle operators should be encouraged to learn how to drive a truck so that they understand what it is like to operate a large vehicle. I'm sure that after a few hours of doing so, they would give trucks and other road users the respect they deserve.
