Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I read the thread, opened the first link and saw a long paper that told us that accidents happen.
I know that already and also know that there are far less deaths from nuclear, but it is not a topic I have any particular knowledge of, so I don't post on it. I am willing to bet that there are deaths mining the materials wind turbines need too, and during their erection. BTW I saw no differentiation between coal for power and metallurgical coal. That should have been done.
Mega posted on "base load" which is a topic I think I know a little about and have a passion for, so I am willing to discuss it at length.
