well sure enough demand for wotif shares remains strong. Doesn't look like there will be another buying opportunity of this great company for a while.
Although I sold my shares, even at today's prices still yield a very solid 5% (approx) dividend before franking credits.
The only thing that stops me buying (or holding) is that the market has been very fickle about Wotif... pushing it down to unbelievable lows, not long ago.
As someone said, the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent. My only hesitation at buying above $5 is that I don't perceive any margin of safety there.
A few were saying it at the time, but the current price of $5.38 really shows how absolutely ludicrous Mr Market is... He was saying they were worth $3.90 not long ago, and really nothing much has changed in that time...
That's up over 30% on investor/trader/speculator 'sentiment' alone.
