Gold moved substantially on fear that there is a pocket of resistance to prolonged QE. That was a surprise but was over done.
NST ran hard and is over bought short term. Trading indicators said sell in short term. That does not mean that it is not a ST buy in 3 days time.
Big moves in NST are news driven, it has been quiet on drill results because labs are closed.
Quarterly will probably be good so I am not concerned about today's move. I have a buy order at a support level in case HFTs and thin volume drive some unusual opportunities. If not I am happy to wait for a spike to lighten up.
Gold will probably fall for a couple of days until the Fed minutes are forgotten.
