Block the Debt Ceiling and force a massive shutdown of US Govt Spending from defence, administration, pensions, civil service, medical etc.

This will push the US back into recession. They have zero interest rates and the US Federal Reserve pumping $1Trillion or newly printed money into their financial system already. If the US govt acts as a leakage to the US economic growth at a time when their growth is at only 2% and cannot increase spending to stimulate demand they will fall into a lost decade of near zero growth.

This will lead to significant social upheaval as it has throughout history.

A few more years of can kicking then GFC 1 looks like a hiccup.

No politicians worldwide are fixing the fundamentals, just Central banks fixing the symptoms.
