I was actually really confident with Roche being the first partner & still persuing the collaboration, extending it & managements key words that it is progressing well + the repeated focus in tech presentations of CPP's although recently far less enthused - although i always like suprises :-)
Roche is the first partnership, now 3 years old & extended to the blood-brain barrier 18 months ago plus passed over to Genetech. However i still wonder why as per TI's hints Pfizer is the lead focus for aquisition towards the end of 2013 ? From what i understand Roche's decision re-licensing of the specific peptide comes in Febuary, if managment was confident & all bases being ticked why isn't Roche at the head of the pack for predators ? To put it simply intracelluar peptides & the blood-brain barrier are the crown jewel with many chasing the target anything that stands up is in high demand - so in theory if the Phylomers where peforming as they are targetted then wouldn't Roche be standing in the box seat for aquisiton ? They wouldn't let a $10M company with the tech & IP slip on by if they had nailed it & there is no way in hell they would "just" simply license the candidate.
Just rambling but the way it's being talked up i find it very hard to envision anything much has eventuated with Roche if they're not putting it at the top of the list for predators ? Or maybe it's just all to wrapped up - but that's hardly going to build any value ahead of an aquisiton.
