the short-term break out:
the SP can successive rise at least for 3 days with high volumes and a pullback can't broken the previous low;
the interim break out:
the SP can breakthrough the previous, important-resistance level and MA breakthrough;
the long-term break out:
just watch the chart from 3 meters away, without need any of TA skill, a child can find out a upper-trend simplely.
