Unaudited net asset value per share at 31 December 2012

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that its unaudited diluted
net asset value ("NAV") per share as at 31 December 2012, calculated on a
cum-income basis, was 2063p.

The interim dividend in relation to the year ending 31 March 2013 of 12.9p
per share will be paid on 10 January 2013.
