Our mine site is the other side of the road so we will only need a 1-3 km long feed in line. Less costs.
We will now have electricity suppliers competing for our business and with optional access to the national power grid through the South Hummocks substation we should be able to get competitive electricity prices which will further lower our costs. Looking more atractive now.
I floated this idea on hot copper last year only to get ridiculed by some posters. Well the old cousiinjack, which is the nick name for all cornish people who came from CORNWALL UK to mine the copper mines in South Australia and elswhere, all I can say is we understand a bit about mining, I have excellent local knowledge after living in Moonta, the old copper mining town and elswhere for 65 years. I dont post very often but when I have feasable ideas that look like they make common sense and have legs then I will post on HC.
