re: :australia day!!!! Eric, i do not think i have met a person who really wishes the aborigines ill will. They might say derogatory remarks, but , i think more out of frustration than anything else.
What i think does cause friction is when trumped up garbage from misfits like Yanner start this rubbish on purpose. They do neither side any good.

I found this site some time ago, written by a young couple on a working holiday around australia, with no personal axe to grind, but obviously not overly impressed by their experiences, particularly Yanner.

And yes, i have lived and worked alongside aborigines in Arnhem land, not just listened to the spin doctors on the ABC.
I formed my own opinions from those experiences.
