Rights issue unlikely unless MR, Bill Brooks and co have a lot of dough to further invest. How many larger holders on this forum would want to invest more money?
I think the "cherry picking" speculation is very unlikely. For a start the lake has only been drilled once in 2007. There was a sample of 30 holes. The positions were dictated by native title. If MR has managed to string out this story for so long on dodgy data then he is better than Lance Armstrong. Furthermore he has gained very little if he has done so.
I think the data from 2007 is one of the few knowns of this project, along with the ILUA registration and WDLAC backing. We also know that the S18 is in the ministers tray. We know something about Compass minerals and its operation. We know that an evaporative trial was due to be completed at the end of December.
The roadshow, terms of any raise, asian interest, feasibility study and so on are all up for speculation.
