rampage i can't say for sure what is going on in that photo but from documentaries i have seen didn't the allied forces drag the nazis and some of the locals around the camps and make them watch and help out with regards to the burying etc of the dead jews and other prisoners? a lot because the allies were so disgusted with what they found and wanted the nazis and locals to face up to their atorcities but also because the allies simply couldn't stomach the work they had to do (who could?). maybe thats what it is?
