yes, one of the bigger ones i have seen but photos can be very deceiving.

are we sure the flare isn't the result of them hooking a pipe up to the local gas retailer? lol

mac bank must be breathing a bit easier. someone asked how/what conditions would have to be met to get the funding ... imo, mac bank would have asked for independent verification of each stage of drilling to trigger off the funding. IMO they also would have known there was O&G there, with a high chance of getting it out before we all knew about it. Chicken and egg scenario ... but in the end 'insiders' (eg lawyers and banks) are privy to market sensitive info before the market gets it under certain scenarios .... and the ASX (us) find out last. That's why I was happy with the funding announcement ;)

only one caveat .... there could be a whole lot of other conditions they need to meet (or keep meeting) along the way to ensure the tap isn't turned off. we'll never know what they are until it's too late on that front unfortunately. I can take a guess at a few but it's pure speculation.
