That's right Motors, but there are systemic checks and balances, but what is the point of them if no one is ever brought to account?
A quote from the original announcement:
"A 15m wide zone containing 5% visible chalcopyrite mineralisation (copper) was intersected..... The presence of high grade chalcopyrite has been confirmed by
results obtained from a Niton XLt handheld portable XRF analyser..."
And in the same announcement the standard "checks and balances":
"The information in this report that relates to Exploration Results is based on information compiled by
Andrew Jones, who is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy. Mr Jones is a fulltime employee of TasEx Geological Services Pty Ltd and has sufficient experience relevant to the style of
mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify
as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the “Australasian Code for Reporting of
Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves”. Mr Jones consents to the inclusion in the
report of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appears."
So what is it? Is Andrew Jones not a competent person? And if in fact he is, as described, then what exactly were the events at play? Still unanswered to this day. Incredible.
