While I don't think it's a VERY big deal IMO it's wrong to dismiss this issue. Clearly Onkili (MOSTI minister) has opposition in cabinet from others (at least health minister Liow). Remember this is a coalition and while I don't know the affiliations of the ministers they're likely to be pushing separate agendas. Cabinet have declared a new set of goal posts on this (gosh, how many times have THEY been moved)!! And frankly it doesn't matter a damn what NC stated; if we want to operate in Malaysia without constant harrassment that's what we need to do. On the other hand, is it a big deal if we need to truck the aggregate to Thailand or Singapore? Really, is it?? The big effect of this storm in a teacup, frankly, is that Malaysia is rapidly becoming a FDI no-go-zone, assuming they get what they deserve.
