I went back and checked where i had gone wrong. I was fairly sure WES had a high payout ratio these past couple of years so when Camden wrote otherwise, i was surprised. Using M.Star figures this is what we get:
FY11 EPS 168.6cents
FY11 Divs 150cents
Payout ratio 89%
FY12 EPS 201c
FY12 Divs 165c
Payout ratio 82%
FY13 EPS 208.8c
FY13 Divs 190c
payout ratio 91% (forecast)
Av. across the 3 is 87.3% which i consider to be very high. From memory WOW payout averages about 70% or maybe just over.
PS. I have found Roger's latest commentary re WES. As usual he remains pessimistic re the company. Not sure if it will C&P.
