It's a combination of ounces, grades & depth.
That is if the grade stands up at around 8 to 10 grams per ton at relatively shallow depths that can be mined from the surface compared to a pure underground mine at depth which would have a much higher production cost then the economics would still stack up nicely even initially with fewer ounces at the higher grade.
Hopefully full details will be revealed shortly.
