Lend Lease Group (ASX:LLC) has completed its work on the Peninsula Link freeway project in Victoria, with the road opening for traffic this morning.
The Infrastructure developer is part of a consortium contracted to design, construct, finance, operate and maintain the freeway for 25 years.
The $655 million contract commenced in February 2010 and has been completed in just under three years.
Lend Lease completed the contracted works through its construction business Abigroup.
Lend Lease Group generated a net profit of $503 million in the 2012 financial year.
