I'm surrounded by females in my life. For many females, the desire to fall pregnant is their number one instinctive goal, just like wanting to sleep when tired, eat when hungry, etc. So when a woman tells her male partner that she has no intentions of getting pregnant and that she's taking contraception, all I can say is enter with caution and suspicion. I think it's high time contraception becomes the domain of males as well in pill form (or similar): that will ensure both parties are ready to enter parenthood when the time comes.
Imagine the government encouraging men to have sex by offering them money - as if they need more incentive! Well, that's pretty much what they've done to many females: paying then to get something that they deeply desire, regardless of what they tell those around them. It's from that point onwards the self belief that society owes them something rages from within, as it was us that paid for them to get pregnant.
Offering them to do so was a stupid mistake. But encouraging to breed in the false hope that they'd be taken care of and-then remove benefits afterwards is even worse in my book. I would hate to be in those shoes, especially if it was never intended.
