Youve hit the nail there, these HFT programmes have some sort of trend/predictive setting and get in front of the pack automatically. But its not the bots its the people using them that are to blame. My opinion is to ban short selling, after all one of the ASX rules is not to plac a trade so as to affect the artificially affect the SP or something like that.
I feel certain NST will begin to rise soon, but if you want to make quick money then ride these rises and falls and use these manipulators. Id buy NST right now but Im committed in BDR at the moment
