G'day Vala. Believe me, I have no "relationship" with Ray James other than being an honest, loyal, long term shareholder and we have mutual respect for each other. I encourage him when things are looking bleak, but, I also give him constructive criticism when I think it is deserved.
He understands my health and financial position, but, has NEVER, given me ANY per announcement information. He knows that I couldn't take advantage of them in any case. I do my own research and that's where I have developed my knowledge of the company.

I have always found him to be a very honest, hard working person, who continually reminds me that he doesn't work to market time, but, to geological and engineering time.
He appreciates that this often irks the impatient ones amongst us, but, he is in it for the end game and does not get involved in "interim fluctuations".

I believe that if you have read todays presentation, he is a very happy man, eventhough "amateur experts" such as the Macquarie Wealth reporters do so much damage to the S.P. with those outlandish "re-assessments" which totally contradict THE experts such as the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Unbelievable, but, probably let's their clients buy back in and to have another shot at that .22 S.P. after making a killing with the recent Placement.

Those with concerns about the economics of the C.B. gas which today's report from macquarie triggered off the sell off in both ICN and BPT, they must now take into consideration the story from Brickworks in today's AFR, where they are complaining about the lack of gas for manufacturing in Australia.
They go on to say that they are having to pay $12GJ for long term contracts. Origin recently sold a short term contract for $9GJ.

When everyone was doing their "sums" for shale gas, the price was around $4GJ. Those numbers of 5MMSCFD, just to make them economical, are now way out of date and, as Santos, Beach and ICN have all stated, that their latest results (Santos is already selling their's) is a complete "game changer". The productivity of the vertical wells will also make a huge difference.
That means that it is a new ball game so far as the economics are concerned. The likes of Macquarie Wealth haven't worked that out yet. The flow rates from Halifax-1 and Holdfast-2 might change all of that triggering off another re-assessment!!
