The experience I've had is that the whales just don't plonk a wad of cash on your desk. If they've got a million, they'll stress over $10,000 and whether that's too much to hand to a fund. So it ends up being more about building relationships and whether you're the hot guy in town everyone wants to invest with. MFG is a standard investor of quality companies (who'll more or less move with the market). They don't stand out from the group to reel in excessive amounts of funds to keep growing at the pace it has so far. At some stage MFG will need to place a big bet on a fringe idea to lift themselves into the league of men.

MFF put out weekly NTAs and monthly holding statements, it might just be easier to direct people there.
