The Japanese in WW2 avoided a full scale land invasion due to the fact they thought most ordinary Australian citizens carried firearms and were crack shot shooters..... just saying. Now we are all anti guns and totally dependent on government military it does make us more vulnerable to any outside invasion.... not saying in modern world that would happen but you never know.

Do you you think it would ever be possible to invade mainland USA? Hell no, even if the Chinese dropped a few million troops over USA local citizens would blast them away.

How about if Indonesia wants to invade our country? you think our military is up for the task? I'm happy to keep a firearm either for farming of defensive purposes, but I also sail plenty around the world and it's necessary in certain waters to carry arms.

I'm pro choice, and with choice comes responsibility so not everyone is responsible to own a gun, but plenty are.
