If so, then why were they talking about having identified the maximum molecular weight in the January S/holder Update last year?

Progress to date from our laboratories has identified the likely maximum molecular weight of the active component while further collaborative work will identify the actual molecular weight and the likely amino acid sequence of the active peptide. This research will provide a source of new IP, know-how and trade secrets in identifying licensing opportunities."

This is the first time I think PNO have ever talked about molecular weight. You are only interested in molecular weight if you are interested in transdermal (patch) stuff (anything over 500 daltons) won’t pass through the skin. So I think its on drawing board - and perhaps theres your little sliver of blue sky amonst the storm clouds. Imo.

With respect to both amg and Glyn in regards to the following words kindly shared by amg:

"Glyn was extremely straight forward and blunt in his response regarding OBJ and PNO's relationship being non existent and specifically said that it was 'pure speculation'. I personally see no such reason for a relationship to be kept under wraps nor do i see any benefit in teaming up with PNO especially in the state that they are in."

This confirms for me one of two things:

1. OBJ may have considered and/or tested certain formulations developed by PNO in the past, and have decided since to no longer pursue this avenue?

2. To quote Glyn:

"OBJ works with major international pharmaceutical and FMCG companies to help them develop new products. This is highly secretive work as these are highly competitive sectors, so our partners rarely permit us to announce our progress, as that would alert competitors to where these majors are focusing their product development plans."

Whether any association between OBJ and PNO does exist at all or not, (with the exception of sharing the same offices, the same accountancy firm, the same lawyers, the same director, and the same inventors) I believe many posters have seen this "speculation" in the wrong light - It has nothing to do with the struggling state of PNO, and the struggling state of PNO should have no relevance to OBJ as they are two seperate listed entities - I have always speculated the potential association between OBJ/PNO to exist with a third 'Major Player' and the association for me has only ever been related to the IP of both companies, which is invented by the same person - OBJ's Executive Director
