I Get the feeling that JA is first and foremost a geologist....and secondly a businessman.
For him the thrill is in FINDING all those goodies under the ground....which he seems to be quite good at.
Turning all those goodies under the ground into $$$ is just something you have to do in order to be able to look for more....which is the fun bit for him.
This is not a criticism of him....just saying that maybe IVR needs a front man to talk it up and cut the deals with the inevitable JV partners.
You can't be good at everything....and it seems that Geology is JAs strong point.
