re: saints - premature evacuation
Agree totally that it should have been the cats in there but we the long-suffering faithful have become past masters at absorbing disappoinment when it comes to finals, so we have to have a surrogate to put the faith into. South Melbourne it is.
Bit of a worry with old Bazza returning to type though.....he must have been thinking the Saints were looking the cats whiskers when they got away by 3 goals and figured "what the hell.....time for biffo....won't be playing next week anyway"....seems his teammates had different ideas.
Then again, Bazza and thinking.....oxymoron ?....or just an ordinary moron ?
